Middle School

Middle School environments are designed to help your student grow deeper in their faith and relationships with other students and leaders.

Middle school is a difficult season. Like a butterfly that's just come out of its cocoon, it isn't yet ready to fly, but it's not what it was just a season before. It's caught in between.

We know you want your 6th-8th grade student to have a place where he/she can connect with others and have a chance to grow in their young faith. They need a place all their own that works in tandem with your home so that they can continue to develop relationally, as well as understand themselves through the lens of the faith they're part of.

Middle School Life Groups
Life groups are the best way for students to participate in meaningful community, and dive deeper into their faith through weekly discussion. They're also really fun! Life groups meet every Sunday night from 6:30-8:00pm during the school year. Groups are organized by grade and gender.

Middle School Service Trip: ReRoute 2027
June 26th — July 2nd
Reroute is a week-long serving adventure for all current middle school students. Students will travel to an undisclosed location to serve at a variety of nonprofits. While the destination is a mystery to students, parents will receive a full itinerary complete with the address and contact information for each serve site and lodging location. On previous Reroute trips students have participated in service at food banks, homeless shelters, park and river cleanups, senior centers, diaper banks, etc. Students will prepare their own meals and disconnect from technology for the duration of this experience. However, they will be able to call home daily to check in with their parents. Throughout Reroute students will engage in daily devotionals, prayer, and team debriefs to be intentional about growing in their faith through this experience.
