Yesterday, Today & Forever

Jesus, according to the author of Hebrews, is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. The essential Way of Jesus isn’t circumstantial. And circumstances, while often unexpected, aren’t so new and unprecedented either. Solomon himself noticed wisely, “there’s nothing new under the sun. What has happened will happen again.” This series explores both the circling, spiraling aspect of reality, and how it does us well to understand “we’ve been here before” no matter what new thing seems to be unfolding. And we’ll also be meditating on the assuring truth that no matter what reality throws at us, it never takes God off-guard or makes Jesus change his Way of Love and Justice and Humility and Goodness.
