Crosspointe Community Policies and Guidelines
We are a community seeking to live out the loving, just, and generous way of Jesus.
We are very excited to share with you our Crosspointe Community Policies and Guidelines!
Crosspointe's core values include being a faith community that is welcoming, inclusive, and safe for everyone. This document gives us another way to put these values into practice and to place action behind what our welcome video declares every week. Although there are no ongoing issues or problems at Crosspointe, we are implementing the Policies and Guidelines so that if there ever are, we are prepared to address them in an appropriate, trackable, and loving manner. It is our hope that understanding these practices and expectations, along with participating in ongoing trainings and conversations, will help us to continue to grow as a community and will signal to others that we mean what we say:
"We are a community seeking to live out the loving, just, and generous way of Jesus."
As of May 1, 2023, everyone who volunteers at Crosspointe will be asked to acknowledge that they have read and understood the Policies and Guidelines document and will be required to attend or view training related to the topics covered within. We have worked to put some procedures and queues in place to help us monitor and track this. These trainings include topics such as micro-aggression, bystander intervention, LGBTQIA inclusion in worship, and inclusive language.
Our Creating Belonging Series of trainings can be viewed online below by all volunteers:
