Happily Ever After
What does it really mean to be happy? Whether they realize it or not, it’s a question that a lot of middle schoolers are asking. Yet so many of the emotions they feel are anything but happy! As we’ll see in this series, those emotions aren’t bad. In fact, following Jesus means you are free to feel it all! God shows up in all our feelings to give us space to feel—and that, Jesus says, is real happiness.
WEEK 1: You are free to feel. (Matthew 5:4, Psalm 30:1-12)
WEEK 2: God shows up in all feelings. (Psalm 139:7-12, Acts 13:22)
WEEK 3: Give others the space to feel. (Romans 12:15-16a)
REMEMBER THIS
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Matthew 7:24, NLT
