Be For Real
In “Be For Real,” middle schoolers will learn what it means to live authentically with integrity. Over four weeks, they’ll discover how being true to who they are shapes their choices, relationships, and even their view of themselves.
WEEK 1: Integrity does what’s right. (Proverbs 11:3)
WEEK 2: Integrity follows what Jesus says is best. (Matthew 7:24-27, Matthew 22:36-40)
WEEK 3: Integrity honors everyone involved. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
WEEK 4: Because you matter, integrity in every area of your life matters. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
REMEMBER THIS
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8, NLT
DO THIS
Morning Time
As your kid starts their day, point out a time when they say they were going to do something and they did it. Let them know how much you appreciate them being true to their word.
Drive Time
While on the go this week, ask your kid: “What is a promise that you or someone you know made that was important to you? Did they keep the promise?”
Meal Time
At a meal this week, have everyone answer this question: “Who is someone you know that you can count on to do the right thing no matter what—even if it’s hard?”
Bed Time
Pray that you and your kid will have the strength and courage to do the right thing no matter what.
