Marriage Mentoring Program
We care about the health of all our relationships. Our marriages too! Our Marriage Mentors are trained to listen and give wise counsel for those who seek to improve their communication, heal, and grow more deeply in love with their partner.
Currently all mentoring meet ups are virtual.
Below you will find a summary description of each of the contexts where we currently offer marriage mentoring programs.
Pre-Marital Mentoring
Congratulations on your engagement! This is an exciting time for both the bride and groom and our premarital mentoring program is designed to prepare you for the journey of marriage. Together, with a trained mentor couple, you will discuss some specific areas that contribute to a successful marriage [communication, conflict management, finances, family dynamics, etc.]. Our recommendation is that you allow 4-6 months before your wedding day to begin meeting with your mentor couple.
Marriage
It is normal, in relationships, to go through rough patches. When two people, with different backgrounds, personalities, and interests come together, it makes sense that you won't always see eye-to-eye. It's important to work through these differences as they arise so that they don't create more problems or resentment in the future. Crosspointe marriage mentors will share their experience, offer strategies to effectively communicate and deal with difficulties and support you so that your marriage can begin to thrive. Depending on the type or extent of the marital concerns you are seeking assistance with, or if we have a waiting list, we may refer you to other local marriage counselors instead.
If you'd like to request marriage mentoring, click on the "request a mentor" button the the right.
