Family Promise

Each year in Wake County, 5,500 individuals experience homelessness. This includes nearly 4,000 children enrolled in Wake County schools who will not have a place to call home at some point during this school year.

Family Promise's mission is to transform the lives of children and families experiencing temporary homelessness by helping them find support services, and safe, affordable, permanent housing in our community.

Since March of 2020, families have been living in Family Promise transitional apartments. Although they are not spending the week in our building as in years past, we are still providing meals and groceries during assigned weeks throughout the year. We partner with First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh to make this possible.
