Craftivist Book Club
Pairing education, advocacy, and grounding through creativity allows us to hold space for ourselves while working toward lasting change. This group is a hybrid book club, advocacy group, and craft circle, blending education, activism, and creative grounding to foster an inclusive and empowered community.
Meeting Dates: 3/9, 3/23, 4/6, 4/20, 5/4, 5/18
Facilitated by Jessa Smith
March 9th: Group members are encouraged to bring their own craft projects — whatever brings you joy and relaxation! This isn’t a group craft activity but rather a personal, grounding practice to help release anxiety while engaging in creativity and community. If you don’t have a project, art supplies will be available as an option.
The first book will be "Half the Sky" by Nicholas D. Kristof, and that discussion will begin at the following meeting.
